COLD & WARM WATER FISHING / Children’s Fishing Derby Video
« Last post by TenXTimmy on Yesterday at 07:21:01 PM »
We had a wonderful time at the Children’s fishing derby in Tannersville this year! It was held at the Onterora Park Pond and the Stony Clove Rod & Gun club / Catskill Mountain Fish and Game Club sponsored the event. 30 children are now hooked on fishing thanks to these volunteers! Good luck on the water this summer!

Good to hear there are some "native" birds and that we don't just have flight birds passing through in the spring and fall...

COLD & WARM WATER FISHING / Re: bait aerator

I use power bubbles in my 120qt cooler. It's a 12v aerator that I hook to a deep cycle marine battery. I can keep hiring alive all striper season with just one full charge. It's a dual hose aerator that  produces lots of bubbles while the cooler keeps the water cold.  Have had 10 hiring stay alive for a week with no water change. Got mine on amazon for $40 5 years ago and still works amazing.  They also sell a smaller battery powered unit

It all depends.  If you are picking bait up night before and you have to keep them alive till morning then your gonna need something 12 volt and if you  just need to keep them alive during fishing you just need the hush bubbles for like 10$
